They are slower growing than a regular Maudiae. 
The reasoning behind this cross was to incorporate a green flower that is NOT albino in the Maudiae breeding line. Bougainvilleanum has a green flower with pinkish petal tips, and we expect to work out this trait as a non-recessive green breeding line. Adult to bloom soon.
